Chuck is the character that all girls want to have sex with as Ed Westwick and also the traits he bares, they wish that all dudes who hit on them had.
He is also the character that all dudes want to be like so that all females will be stuck onto them like glue.
Chuck is also the reason that all gay and lesbian people wish that they were straight, coz he make being straight sexy.
So how and why does this Chuck Bass character have so much influence on the watchers of Gossip Girl?
The how and why are going to be answered by one statement which is he has got the “bad boy attitude” that all girls like. From a dudes point of view and experience, girls like being mishandled and mistreated though not but elements of rudeness in how you treat them and converse with them is quite a turn on. That's just what Chuck Bass has. OK, and a lot of money. That's the downside of wanting to be Chuck Bass, you need a lot of money. Girls love money more than anything else in this world. Don't hate because its true.
Finally the part that I almost forgot is the dressing. Even if you have watched only a few episodes of Gossip Girl you will see that Charles Bass is always in official attire never have I seen him in a t-shirt. Ladies love a well dressed man who know how to take care of himself. Don't you, ladies? Personally, that is one stunt I am trying to pull though its not easy buying the clothes coz I don't have that much money. But when I bought a watch, ladies were always asking me what the time was although some had watches on their hands and most if not all had their mobile phones.
